As I entered the room I looked for a place to sit. Off to the right were several empty seats at a round table. Sitting down, I started talking to the lady on my left. I had met Charlotte a year ago but we had not had a conversation since then. She is a member of Texas Authors; I’m wasn’t although I’ve written two books with a third rumbling around in my head. Charlotte is also co-host of the Indie Beacon Radio Podcast. Fortunately for me, the guest speaker for the following Tuesday night had cancelled.
Charlotte asked, “Would you be interested in being interviewed Tuesday night?”
The interview was recorded; you can watch it on the link below.
If you have never been a guest on a podcast, here are a few easy fixes that you can put into place in order to have a better recording.
**During the interview on my laptop, there seemed to be enough light on me. But on the recording, it’s a little dark.
++Easy fix: Add more light in the room before the interview starts.
**There’s too much space above my head.
++Easy fix: Adjust the seat or laptop.
**The framed books on the wall are too far away to read the titles.
++Easy fix: Move closer to the wall.
I have to say being interviewed was an enjoyable and fun experience!
May all of your interviews on podcasts be fun and enjoyable experiences!
